Review by hotel critic
As an architect with a penchant for blending history and modernity, my stay at Best Western near Hamburg's Hammer Park was a delight. The hotel's location, nestled between two subway stations, provided seamless connections to the city center, reflecting Germany's efficient infrastructure.During my stay, I savored breakfast at the old-fashioned Globus restaurant. The breakfast buffet beckoned with a spread that included smoked salmon, boiled eggs, and an array of bread, juices, and cereals. As I indulged in these regional delicacies, I couldn't help but appreciate the fusion of traditional flavors with modern presentation. The cozy bar, frequented by locals watching sporting events, offered a relaxed ambiance for evening drinks. At Cafe May, a short stroll away from the hotel, I enjoyed a leisurely cup of coffee, soaking in the German charm. A visit to this architectural landmark promises a seamless blend of past and present in the heart of Hamburg.
